Violin Recitals (My Music Recital Episode 20)

Tobias

Tobias plays for us Vivaldi Summer 3rd Movement.  Last year he has done a number of recitals and one gala concert at the Esplanade Recital Studio with the Happy Music Festival.  He also participated in a Festival in Penang in both piano and violin and the Christmas Concert to commerate the opening of the Woodlands Health Centre.  This is a preparation for his Competition in Da Nang Vietnam.

She plays a BV5 Matte Violin in 1/2 Size.

Hayley, 11

Plays a 4/4 Size Belcanto Supremo Series 1731 "Stanley Goodman" Guarneri Violin Duration of Learning: Few Years Started at BVMS Since: December 2020

Hayley has won several competitions this year, she is honored to perform at the upcoming International Mozart Festival 2025.
 

Other Favorite Things/Activities: Loves cheesecake, playing piano and tennis, loves all animals

Thaddeus

Plays a BV5 Series Special Edition 3/4 Size Violin Total Duration of Learning: 4 years Started at BVMS Since: April 2021

In this Concert, Thaddues plays Lalo's famous Symphonie Espagnole, 4th Movement.  As an added challenge, we had him play with a recorded accompaniment as he prepares for his Competition in Da Nang - this Event in June won him the Top Overall Champion in his category and a Gold Award.  He will also be playing in Tokyo at the Tokyo City Opera Concert Hall where he won 1st Prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards, he additionally also won 2nd Prize for the Golden Classical Musical Awards in Los Angeles

Aloise

Plays a 3/4 Size BV7.8 Series Violin Duration of Learning: 4 years Started at BVMS Since: April 2021
 

Aloise recently won First Prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards and went to Carnegie Hall in New York to perform earlier this year.  Here she plays an excerpt of the 1st Movement of Viotti's Violin Concerto in D major to prepare for the Competition in Da Nang at the end of the month.

Eton

Plays a Belcanto Violins Supremo Series 4/4 Size Duration of Learning: Few Years Started at BVMS Since: June 2023

In this Recital, Eton plays the first movement of Seitz Violin concerto.  The added challenge is to do so with a recorded accompaniment to prepare for the upcoming Competition at Da Nang.

David

Plays a 1/2 Size BV3 Special Edition Series Violin Duration of Learning: !+ years Started at BVMS Since:  August 2023
 

In this recital, David plays one of his favorite songs Climb Every Mountain.  He is preparing for his competition recital in Da Nang.  We applaud his bravery as he is still relatively new to the violin.
