Zixin is a new student at Belcanto Violins who has recently joined us. Her teacher is Associate Teacher Jade who has taught her for the past few months. She plays boldly in this performance the first two movements of Oskar Rieding's Violin Concerto and we look forward to more to come.

Kellie
Plays a BV3 Series Special Edition (Limited Edition in dark varnish) 4/4 Size Violin Total Duration of Learning: A Year + Started at BVMS Since: September 2021
Kellie started the violin and joined us for a year over now at Belcanto Violins and is under Associate Teacher Jade, in the previous concert, she showcased the ability to play an entire Violin Concerto of 3 movements despite only a very short duration of learning. In this concert, she plays the 1st Movement of the Student Concerto by Seitz in G for us. She has also participated in multiple World Strings Day Events and we really appreciate her presence in our studio!

Ted, 7Plays a 1/4 BV5 Series Special Edition Violin Total Duration of Learning: 4 years Started at BVMS Since: January 2019 Ted started the violin with Vivienne at 40 months old. He has since participated in a Music Competition since and also a coming live music competition playing Dancla's Aires Varies. This is the first presentation of the piece to get used to playing for live audience. Here is the outcome video of his competition. Naomi, 7Plays a 1/4 Size Violin Duration of Learning: Few Years Started at BVMS Since: January 2023 Naomi is a new student of Vivienne's. Since starting in January this year, she has challenged Naomi to record all 2nd Position Etudes by the Romanian composer, Robert Klenck for an Instagram project as such recordings are not made available on media otherwise. We are now embarking on a live competition of a semi final round using this performance to get used to playing in front of a live audience. Thaddeus, 9Plays a BV5 Series Special Edition 3/4 Size Violin Total Duration of Learning: 3 years Started at BVMS Since: April 2021 Thaddeus completed Grade 3 since the last recital in 2021 and he has been refining his skills to a more intermediate level. Now he is almost ready for his Grade 5 Exam. He has also taken part in SMTA's Music Performance and obtained a Silver Award for his performance of one of Seitz's Violin Concerto and will be participating in a live Music Competition soon playing these two pieces featured in this performance. JadePlaying on a 4/4 Size Belcanto Supremo Series Violin Duration of Learning: more than 10 years Started at BVMS Since: September 2019 Jade is an Associate Teacher with us and has been recently training for a Music Competition. Today she performs for us Beethoven's Spring Sonata as a preparation for the live rounds of the competition. Despite juggling her busy schedule as a medical student an also a National Athelete, she puts her best foot forward as both a teacher and excellent student.
