Vivian Reiko Chan Vivian Reiko Chan graduated from Tokyo Conservatoire Shobi Japan, she is an avid composer and performer. In her free time, she also teaches students (both at Belcanto Violins as well as her own Music Studio (ShalomViv Piano) and has groomed many high diploma scorers and youth competition winners. She has also been invited as a judge for a few competitions such as the recent Kayserburg Piano Competition and Happy Music Festival (Chief Judge). We are so grateful for her to grace our stage today to perform some intimate pieces that is dear to her such as her own composition "Sweet Nightingale" dedicated to her Mother. The emotionally charged "pavane pour une infante" by Ravel touched our hearts and of course everyone enjoyed her rendition of the all time popular Minute Waltz by Chopin. We certainly hope that she would be back to have more musical memories with our Studio. |
