My Music Recital Episode 2

My Music Recital Episode 2

Welcome to the Concert Pages of our website!

At the midpoint of this year, we made a significant decision to introduce a monthly series of concerts. This initiative aims to foster a vibrant performance culture within our school, allowing our students to showcase their talents and apply what they have learned in a meaningful and enriching way.

We are thrilled to present to you My Music Recital Episode 2, the second installment of this exciting concert series. Through this platform, we aim to capture and share the highlights of each episode, providing you with a glimpse into the incredible performances and experiences our students have to offer.

In this concert we are elated to have our Guest Artiste Pianist Vivian Reiko Chan with us. Ms Chan also teaches at Belcanto Violins and has trained many competition youth winners of her own.  For this concert, she plays her own light hearted composition "Sweet Nightingale" dedicated to her Mother.  And also an emotionally charged "pavane pour une infante" by Ravel.  She begins her performance with the bubbly "Valse Du Petit Chien" also known as the minute waltz by F Chopin Op64. No.1.

As usual we have a line up of our violin students who so eagerly performed as many are new to performance, this being only our 2nd Episode.  A quick shout out to our student Melissa who has bravely played all four of her Exam pieces for us in her first live performance.  We are inspired by her bravery and hope to be present with her for more performances as she grows as a musician.

We also invite you to explore our website and take a look at previous performances. Witness the growth and improvement of our hardworking students over the years, as they continue to improve tremendously in skill to muster more courage to perform for audiences .

Thank you for joining us on this musical journey. Stay tuned for future episodes of My Music Recital, where we will continue to showcase the exceptional work and talents of our students and guest performers.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and for being a part of our musical community.
