1742 “Lord Wilton” Guarneri ‘del Gesù
This amazing instrument is a copy of the 1742 “Lord Wilton” Guarneri ‘del Gesù. Also know as the ex-Yehudi Menuhin who played the instrument for large parts of his career, for a brief period was considered the most expensive violin ever sold. It is beautifully made from aged European sourced maple woods and features a one piece back with a medium grain on its ribs, neck and scroll. It is a special size which allows for violinists who would be more comfortable with a smaller instrument. The instrument is definitely a soloist's instrument.
This Violin is made by a master maker of over 30 years of experience in Violin Making.
